PART 1

On his way back home, Tom saw a girl who sits on the ground; he found her crying as he walked near to her, he decided to ask her “What happened?” He sited next to the girl.
“My ball…” she cried.
He tried to find the ball by his eyes and he saw the ball above the nearest tree behind them. “Is that your ball?” he pointed the red ball in the big tree. She nodded.
He takes a deep breath and said “Okay, come on… don’t cry I’ll take your ball.”
“Really?” She gave him a big smile.
He holds her hand and they both walk in front of that big tree behind them. “Are you sure, you can climb up there?” She said while looking up.
He just smiled and climbs on the tree… after a few minutes above it he safely goes down holding her ball. He gave the ball to her.
She happily smiled at him as she received her favorite ball. “Thank you.” she said.
“You’re welcome, what’s your name again?” He innocently asked.
“Nishca… your new here right?”
“How did you know?” He wondered
“I lived here, and your face is unfamiliar, do you live here?”
“I lived in the white house at the end of this road.”
“You lived there? I lived next to that house…”She smiled.
“Really? I just came here yesterday.”
“So you’re the grandson of Mr. K?”
“How did you know?”
“He used to tell me about his grandsons… your name is Bill?” She guessed.
Tom stopped as she said the name Bill…”ah…, Y-yes I am.” He pretended while giving her a fake smile.
“Well nice meeting you Bill… so how was Mr. K is he okay now?”
“He’s okay, don’t worry… He’s with my mom in States.”

And they became friends from then on... They were just sixteen years of age that time.

PART 2

“Hey wake up!” Nishca pulled him out on his bed.
“Eee… I’m still sleepy Nish…” he complained.
“Hey you’re the one who said that were going to the river near the park, you promised that remember?” she smiled.
He threw himself face downward on the pillows and said. “But I feel sleepy…”
“No… you’re going to wake up now…Bill.” she insisted.
He suddenly wakes up when he heard she called him Bill… and he remembered that he hasn’t told the truth yet. “Okay Tom you must tell her the truth before leaving.” His mind said.
Nischa pulled out the pillow covering his face then she moved forward his ear and said “Wake up!” and then she laughs afterwards…
“Tsk.tsk. tsk. Okay fine… I’m awake now…” he sat up and combed his hair with his bare hands.
She smiled and stands off the bed “Yes! Okay then I’ll go down stairs… make it faster huh.” She said it while walking toward the stairs.
He smiled and said “Okay … fine.”

“Wow this is really beautiful…” she is amaze while looking around.
“Is this your first time to go here?” He asked.
“Yes, my mom never allow me to go near this river… she said its dangerous here, well thank God your with me… my mom trusted you, Bill” She narrated.
He just smiled. “Okay Tom tell her… you’re not Bill… tell her!” his mind shouted.
“Nishca… I need to tell you something… I…I…”
It suddenly rained. “Oh it’s raining…” they both run to the nearest shed.
“Oh well… we are wet…” She complained.
He takes off his jacket and wraps around her “I don’t want you to catch a cold.”
She smiled back and notices the birth mark on his back. “You have a birth mark?”
“That one? Yeah” He agreed “…and that’s the only difference we have” his mind added.
Nishca look up as the rain falls down. She takes a deep breath while looking on it.
He notices her silences…”Why you look sad Nishca?”
“Nothing…it’s just i remember your going back to the States tomorrow.”
“We talk about this right?”
“Yeah… but still…no one will get my ball from that big tree… when you’re gone.” She looked at his eyes seriously.
“O come’ on Nish, I’m still going back…”
“But when?”
“I don’t know now but I promise I will.” He promised.
“Promise…” He gets something from his pocket and then he opened it.
“What’s that?” She added.

"Nishca… I want you to have this."
“A ring, but why?” she curiously asked.
“I really want to tell you… I love you Nishca.” he admitted while looking at her eyes.
“What? Are you sure, but I’m only sixteen… and you’re…”
“I don’t care…”
“Were too young for that.” She explained.
“Do you love me?” He seriously asked.
“Yes… of course I do, but don’t you think…”
“I know and I’m willing to wait Nish…”She kissed her in the forehead just like he always do… and kissed her on lips.
That was her first kiss.
“I love you; promise me you’ll wait for me until I come back.” he whispered.
“I promise.” she hugged him tight.

“Mr. Lee is Nishca is there?”Tom looked from his door way
“Not yet...” He answered. Mr. Lee is his trusted butler.
“No! I can’t leave without telling her the truth.” He sobbed.
“That’s the thing I’ve been wondering…Master Tom, why you pretend to be your brother?”
“Because… he must be the one who’s here right now, not me.”
“But what if Miss Nishca thought Master Bill is really you master?”
“I wish she didn’t… I wish she will come…” He wishes.

”Nishca our professor said we must finish this project today?”
“What? She said to me that our deadline is on Friday… I can’t do it now… I must see Bill before she goes to the States.” She narrated.
“I’m sorry girl…”
She has nothing to do but to finish the said project.
“Oh I wish… he’s still there.”
She runs as fast as she could but… Bill is not there anymore, the gate was closed.
She’s hopeless, slowly she sit in the ground and notice a piece of paper near a pot. She get it and read.

Nishca,

Always remember that I love you, I will comeback… I promise

Tom.

“Tom? Why Tom…”She shakes her head in denial. ”Bill you’re always like this.” She smiled while looking at the paper.

Few months after she decided to mailed him a letter.
“Nishca?" Bill wonders while receiving a letter from a mailman.
“I don’t have a friend named like this…” He opened and read it. “Wow she’s beautiful…” he said while holding Nishca’s picture. He started mailing her. After a few letters he knew that… that letter is for Tom.

“Any mail for me Bill?” He innocently asked his brother.
“No… no mail Tom” He denied.
“Ah… okay….just tell me, if I have some.” He said.
“Don’t worry I will.” He lied. Actually the letter he is holding now in his back is a letter from Nishca.

Years later Bill decided to know her better and to see her personally.

Before he leave…
“Bill, can you do me a favor?” He pleased.
“What is it?”
"Can you find Nishca?”
“Nishca?” Bill felt nervous that moment.
“I don’t know what happened why she didn’t mailed me, I just want to know if she’s okay.”
“Huh? Okay I’ll find her.” He gave him a fake smile.
“And tell her that I’m still keeping my promise…” He added.

“You’re Nishca?”
“O come’ on Bill it’s just 4 years… you don’t remember me?” She rolled her eyes while smiling.
“No! No! You change I mean… you’re beautiful.” He said. “God she really is, her long wavy black hair and her innocent face… Well I don’t wonder why Tom is waiting for her letter…” He stopped as he remembered what he has done to his brother.
“Bill?” She touched his shoulder.
“Ha?” He was back to the reality.
“Is there a problem?” She asks.
“Ha? No, I mean nothing…” He denied.
“So what happened, tell me” She insisted.

Later on they became lovers.
“Do you still remember this?” She showed the ring in her hand while leaning her head on his shoulder. Bill got confused about that. “You gave this before you left, remember?” She recalled him.
“Ha? Oh yeah… I’m surprised you still wearing it.” He gave her a fake smile. She moved backward and looked at his eyes.” What did you said... Surprised?”
“Oh nothing…”He denied. She moved backward and looked at his hand. ”Where is your ring Bill?”
“Ha?” Bill was demoralized. He doesn’t know what to say.
She gave him a bad look.” Where is your ring?” She repeated.
“Huh? My ring?” he looked at his own hand and think fast”I… I keep it safe.” He lied.
“Safe?” She repeated and look at him again. “Okay…” She smiled and lean her head again to his shoulder.
He sighed.“Whoa… that was close” His mind whispered.

PART 5

Bill decided to go back to the States to settle his business, He’s planning to stay with Nishca and leave everything behind.

“So did you find her?”
“Who?” He asked innocently as if he doesn’t know what he was saying.
“Nishca…” He reminded him.
“Ha! Yeah, no! I don’t know I didn’t find her.” He denied.
He stooped down and turned away. Tom looked so sad. “Oh Tom, forgive me…”He whispered as he looked in his brother’s back.

After settling and leaving everything behind with Tom… he goes back to Nishca.

“Why me?”He asked his father.
“Because you’re the oldest son and you have the responsibilities.” His dad narrated.
“I don’t like to manage that business Dad! I want to go back…to…”
“Go back there?“ He added. ”Don’t leave everything behind Tom, just like your brother did!”
“See? You’re giving me those responsibilities because Bill left it! Why you always like that?”
“Because…” He tried to explain.
“Okay I know… Bill is your favorite son…” He jealously claimed.
“No, Tom… We both love you… you know the reason why he’s special.” He explained.
“Yes I know he’s always getting sick, and as his older brother I must have to give way…”
“You don’t want to waste all of this for that girl…”
“You know Dad if I’m going to choose between those? I’ll choose her…Dad but I don’t have any choice right?” He just walked out afterwards.

“I missed this.” Nishca said as she slowly breathes the fresh air. She is now leaning on grass together with Bill. They were on the place where Tom and Nishca used to go, in the river beside the park.
“You, missed what?” He asked as he looked at her while she’s breathing. “God I want to marry her.” His mind whispered.
“…I mean this place, remember that this is the place where we used to go before?” Nishca said while her eyes closed.
“Ahh…” He answered. “Nishca…” He looked at her eyes.
“Hmm…” She Whispered.
Suddenly she felt his lips… ”I love you” He whispered after that kiss.
She opened her eyes and smiled on him. “I love you too, Bill.” and She hugged him tight.

Bill decided to ask her…
“Will you marry me?” Bill asked on bended knees.
It was the happiest day of her life “Yes… I do.” He move forward to Bill and hugged him.

They settled the wedding…
“I need to back in States Honey… I have something to do.” He explained.
“But our wedding is on next month.” She recalled him.
“I’ll be back on Saturday.” He promised.
“Okay then just makes sure…huh.” She assured. He nodded back and kissed her goodbye.

On his way… a sudden accident came. Bill is the critical condition.
“He needed a blood donor as soon as possible.” The doctor said.
“Can I donate mine Doc?” She presented herself but after a few blood test… “I’m sorry but you have different blood type.” The doctor explained.
She slowly takes a sit to the nearest chair behind her.

Meanwhile…

“What happened you looked pale… is there anything wrong?” His friend asked.
“No! Nothing… I just felt there’s something happened… I must go there now.” He leaves his business to his trusted friend.

He was right… Bill needs him.

”He’s okay now.” The doctor declared.
They both sighed. “Oh! God thank you.” She said. Tom was looking at her…
”Nishca?” He asked.
He looked back on Tom…”Thank you, you save his life…Tom.”
“You remember me?”
“Of course I do, well you really looked like Bill, huh?” She smiled.
“Bill told you about me?”
“I just remembered that Bill has a twin… and I think that is you, you do look like him.” She narrated.
“Really? He never told me…about…” He wanted to know more.
“Well, he’s about to go back in States to…”
“To… what?” He asked curiously.
“Maybe, inviting you to our wedding?” She guessed.
“What wedding?” He was shocked.
“Our wedding, were getting married…” She smiled.
“It means all this time Bill lied on me?” He asked his mind.
“Is there anything wrong?” She innocently asked while tapping his shoulder.
“No! No… Ah, I need to talk with Bill now…” He replied and walk straight to Bill’s room.

As Tom entered the hospital room, he went straight to the bed where Bill is lying.
"You never told me you’re getting married... I told you to find her Bill not to pretend to be me."
"Tom, it was an accident, she thought I was you and..." He tried to explain.
"You don't even try to tell her the truth?"
Bill stooped down "I don't... I can't, I love her Tom." he admitted.
"You know how much I love her Bill, how could you do this to me?” He couldn’t believe everything.
"Please Tom; forgive me... its just I can't live without Nishca."
"And you think I can? Huh Bill!"
Bill kept his silence for a moment and said.
“Tom, please I love her." He begged.
“You must tell her the truth Bill… If you can’t I will…tell…” they both looked at the door as they heard someone came in.

It was Nishca…

”Oh! You both look as if you saw a ghost.” She said while smiling, she went straight to the table near the bed and fix the fruits she bought.
Tom gave Bill a bad look…saying, “Tell her!”
But Bill just looked at Nischa and said… “Thank you for the fruit Honey.” He smiled and looked back with Tom like saying. “Please Tom I can’t do this… I’m sorry.”
Tom knows what he was thinking… He just turned his back and walk out the room.
“What happened to him Bill?” She innocently asked.
“Don’t mind him Hon…He’s tired, he needs some rest.” He explained.

He was outside of the room thinking as he played the pair of the ring she gave to Nishca.
“Will I go back and just leave her with Bill?” He was confusingly sad.
Nishca went out to that door.
He quickly hides the ring in his pocket.
She sated beside him.
“You have to rest Tom… I will take care with you brother.”
He saw the pair of his ring in her hand.
She noticed it. “This ring? Your brother gave it to me.”
He just smiled. “Do you love my brother Nishca?”
“Yes, Tom… I love him.”
“But what if he lied to you? What will you do?” He asked.
“It’s depends Tom; I know Bill will never lie to me.” She replied.

Tom decided to stay. He called his trusted business partner to file a leave for vacation.

”Bill I will tell Nishca about the truth.”
“Please Tom… if you told her the truth now, she will never forgive me.”
“But…”
“If I lost her… I don’t know what to do next?”
“Okay Bill I’ll give the time to tell her the truth, but it doesn’t mean I’m giving up her to you, unless she choose you.”
“Unless… she choose me?" He repeated.
“If she chose you after you tell her the truth, I’ll go back. Sounds fair?”
“Okay...” He agreed.
“But if she chose me you will let go…”
Bill nodded.

Weeks passed by and Bill’s wound was nearly healed, but still he doesn’t have plan to say everything to Nishca.

“Still don’t have plans to tell her Bill!” He was irritated.
“I still can’t say it Tom.”
“But you must tell her now!” He shouted.
“I said I can’t do it now!”
“Then I will tell her!” They were fighting.
“No! Tom… plea…” Bill felt pain in his wound. “AHHH!” He shouted.

“What are you doing?” Nishca pushed Tom away from Bill.
“What happened, Hon?” She asked Bill was holding his wound
“My wound! It hurts!” He complained.
She looked back with Tom. “What did you do?” She asked madly.
Tom was shocked too. He stepped back in the corner.
“Doc!” Nishca shouted.

”He must not get stressed.” The doctor advised and left the room together with his nurse.
Nishca gave a bad look at Tom. “What happened? He was okay when I left him!” She confronted him.
“Nishca…” He tried to explain.
“I heard you’re fighting with him…” She took a deep breath first. “Please Tom; don’t give him a reason to be stressed… its bad for him.” She pleaded. “Wait why you are fighting with him? Is there something wrong?” She curiously asked.
“Fighting?” He stopped and think. “If I say the reason to Nishca she will get mad at him and Bill… Ah! Tom, Stop this! Even just for now until he recovered…” His mind said.
“No! Nothing, just business.” He lied.
“Oh! Business… can you set aside those things for now… you know it’s not good to him to be stressed.” She narrated.
He nodded. “I know.”

Sunday afternoon.

“Where are you going?” Tom accidentally met Nishca.
“Going back to the hospital.” She replied.
“I see… I am actually going there too, do you mind if I walk with you?"
“Sure.” She smiled.

While walking…
“You know I noticed this place never changed.” He looked around the village.
“So… you came here before?” She asked innocently.
“Came here before?” He repeated. He remembered his brother Bill. “I mean Bill told me about this place and send me some picture so…” He was trying to explain to hide the truth.
“I see, you saw it in the picture.”
He sighed. “That was close.” His mind said. “So… where did you meet my brother?”
“Oh! Your brother? I met him there.” She pointed the big tree few meters away from them.
That was the tree he climbed years ago just to get her ball. ”He climbed there to get my ball and from that they we became friends.” Nishca narrated.
“I know Nishca, I know…” His mind whispered as he looked at Nishca.
They kept in silence for a moment while walking. Suddenly it rained. They run to the nearest shed. “Oh, Tom, look there that was the river! You know Tom Bill and I used to go there…”
“Really…” He remembered everything happened before.
He looked at Nishca. “You’re wet…” He took off his jacket and gave it to her. “I don’t want you to catch a cold.”
Nishca looked at him. She remembered the word he said. Suddenly she felt something wrong with her. “I don’t want you to catch a cold? That was the exact word Bill told me before…” She was confused he looked again with Tom; He was looking at the sky waiting for the rain to stop.
She looked at him and… “Tom…”
“What?” Tom looked at her.
“Are you sure that this is the first time you came here?” she asked while looking at eyes.
Tom cannot stand those look, he just stooped down and said. “I think we better go…”
She looked at the sky and saw the sun again.
Tom stood up first “Let’s go?” He gave her a hand.

Finally, Bill has recovered from that accident and got home. Nishca was there to take care of him.
“Bill looked at you, your shirt are full of sweat… come here, take that off and changed!”
She helped him to get dressed. He noticed his back, she was looking at his birthmark “I know he has it here, but why it’s gone?” Her mind asked.
“Is there something wrong Hon?” He noticed that Nishca was confused.
“Huh? No! Nothing…” She just watched him.
“Maybe the birth marks fades away?” Her mind concluded.

That was the week before the wedding, but still Bill does not have a plan to say anything about the truth.
Tom figured it out.

PART 10

The day of the wedding…

Bill is in the church waiting for his bride. A familiar name flashed in his phone screen, it was Tom. “Hello?”
“Bill, I know you don’t have a plan to say the truth…so I will do it.” That was the only thing he said before she cut off the line.
“Wait! Tom…Hello! Tom!” but it was too late.

She was on her room that moment preparing… Tom entered the room.
“Oh! Tom? What are you doing here are you supposed to be in the church?"
“You have to know something Nishca.”
“About what?”
“About us…” He seriously whispered.
“Us?” She was confused. She looked at him with a second thought. “Is this one of your jokes Tom? It’s not funny.”
He pulled out the ring into his pocket. “Remember this?”
Her eyes looked at the ring and realizing…it was the pair of her ring. “How come you have that?”
“I love you, remember? You promise me you’ll wait for me until I come back.” He whispered, he walked close to her and kissed her in the forehead just like before… and kissed her on lips.
After they kissed.
“Bill? But… how? This is impossible!”
She was slowly pulled herself off with him. He realize all those things, why Bill changed, why he don’t have that birth marks, and why he’s not wearing that ring… it’s because he’s not the Bill she used love before.
“This is absurd!” She couldn’t believe everything.
“It was not my real name Nishca… I tried to say it before I left but you didn’t come that day…”
“But why? But you both lied to me?” She was crying. “You both fooled me!”
“No, Nish… I tried to say it before, but Bill…” He was moving toward her. “Don’t come any closer Tom!" She screamed.
“Nish…”
“I need time to think!” He sat down on her bed and cry. ”Go away!” She shouted. He cannot do anything but to walk out in her room.

PART 11

The entire guests are gone but Bill was still there hoping that Nishca will come
Nishca showed to their wedding. She went straight to him and slapped him as hard as she can.
“How could you do this to me?” She said while crying.
“Hon… I…” He tried to explain.
“You don’t have the right to call me that way Bill… we are done now!”
“I know… he already told you the truth…”
“You lied to me…”
“I can’t tell you that he’s not me Nishca, I love you.” He explained.
“If you really love me… you will not lie to me Bill.”
“But I don’t want to loose you.”
“But you already did now.”
He was broken. He sated to the nearest couch. “Please don’t do this to me…”
“You know Bill; I hope you think before you did that!” She left the church wearing her wedding gown.

Few minute later Tom came. “Did she come here?”
Bill nodded.
“Where is she?”
“She already left me.”
“You let her go alone? But it’s getting dark…” He stood up and walked toward the door of the church. “Where are you going?”
“I’ll find her!” He answered back.

PART 12

Tom searched for her but he failed, on his way back home he saw something… a car accident.
There was many people there…fire fighter, police, Medias, civilians… He noticed that was the Nishca’s car.
“Nishca!” He went straight to it but the police stopped him… the car was burning and the fire fighter trying to stop the fire. “Nishca! Nishca!” He was screaming her name while crying. He cannot do anything but to cry.

They found a dead body in there, they couldn’t recognize her. “Are you the family, Sir?”
A nurse accompanied him to the room.
Tom was still in denial.
“This is her body.” The nurse pointed the body covered with the white cloth.
“What happened?” Bill entered the room, shaking. He was shocked after he heard the news about the car accident.
Tom looked at him and stare at the body. Tom’s face was blank.
“Ah Sir we found this…” She was showing a ring. “The body was holding this.” The nurse said.
Bill took the ring. He gave that engagement ring to her.
“Nishca!” He cried. Bill slowly walked toward the burned body and looked at it as he opened the white cloth but he couldn’t take any longer, he looked at Tom… He was just staring at it. He sat at chair and cried.
“If only I know this thing will happen… I wished I told her the truth.”
“She’s not dead Bill…she’s not dead.” He’s shaking his head in denial.
Bill stooped down and said. “It was our engagement ring Tom…” He showed the ring which slightly burned.
“No Bill… I said she’s not dead!” He stood up and… “That body is not her! She’s not dead!” He shouted and ran away.
Bill left alone with the body. “I’m sorry Nishca, I’m sorry.” He cried while holding their engagement ring.

All of the family was there. Nishca’s Mom and her Dad… they are all mourning as they buried down the coffin. Tom and Bill were there too…
Tom was looking at the coffin as it goes down 6 feet under. He was still on denial; he knows that the girl in that coffin was not Nishca. “I know you’re alive, and I will find you no matter what.” He promised to himself.

PART 13

She was smeared with blood when Criss found her that night.
He was looking at her face wondering what happened.
Slowly her eyes opened. She looked around and asked. “Where am I?”
“In the hospital, I found you in the side of a ravine.” He narrated.
“Ravine?” She was confused.
“Yes… by the way miss what is your name?”
“My name?” She tried to remember. “My name… I don’t know my name…” She was blank.
“Can you try to remember again?”
She tried again but it’s hopeless.
“I can’t remember! Why I can’t remember?” She was crying and hurting her head.
“Okay! Okay! Miss stop it! don’t hurt yourself please.” He hugged her to comfort.
He asked the doctor about it “The girl has amnesia.”
“But how long will she remember everything?”
“We don’t know…sometimes it took months, years but in other cases their memories don’t come back.” The doctor explained.

Criss decided to take care of the unfamiliar girl without knowing who she is.
“Miss, Can I just call you Maria? “
“Maria?” She repeated.
"Just, until your memory comes back.”
“Okay… Maria.” She agreed.
They became friends from then on.

She was looking on her hand.
“I see you have a ring Maria.” Criss noticed a ring on her hand.
Maria smile at him. “I wonder who gave it to me, Criss.”
“Well maybe a guy who really loved you?” He guessed while he smiled.
She just smiled back.
“Don’t worry when I meet that guy I will ask about that ring.” He winked.
“Promise?”
He nodded.

Few years later, her wound was healed but still her memories are gone.

PART 14

Bill decided to go back in States and tried to move on but Tom… he decided to stay.
He was busy with the business left by Tom. He knows Tom was broken.

That was seven in the evening after work. He decided to walk going to the park near the sea.
He was looking at the calm sea… He remembered Nishca. He went closer to the sea and looked around, he notice someone on his side…“Nishca?” He cannot even blink; he saw a girl staring at the sea she look sad. She looks exactly like Nishca. He run toward her and hugged the girl without second thought. “Nishca I thought you are dead…”
“Hey get off me!” She pushed him away. “Nishca.?” She repeated as she looked at him.
“What happened to you I thought…”
“I’m not that Nishca Mister…” She said frankly.
“It can’t be…” He looked at her again more closely. “Oh! I thought… I’m sorry.” He was wrong. “She does just look a like.“ His mind whispered with disappointment as he looked at the girl in front him but while he is looking at her, he felt something he never felt before.
The girl stood up and left him there. She started to walk.
“Wait!” He walked after her. “Can I know your name?” He inquired.
“My name? Why will I tell my name, I even don’t know you…”
“I’m Bill…” He introduced himself. “And you?”
The girl smiled. “Okay then Bill… I’m Cyndi.”
“Ah… Cyndi, do you mind if I walk with you?”
“Huh?” He looked at him, “He doesn’t look like a bad guy.” Her mind whispered. “Okay then.” She smiled.
“So why you were…” Bill started to know this girl more.

”She was my fiancé…” He was sad.
“I see, what happened to her?” She asked more.
“It was in our wedding day when she got a car accident.”
She looked at him. “Poor guy left by his fiancé on their wedding day.” Her mind said. She felt pity on him.
“So… how about you?”
“I go away from home.”
“Why? What happened?”
“My dad want me to marry that old rich guy, I don’t like him… so why will I marry him!” She was irritated.
“Your dad was forcing you to do that?”
She nodded. “We have a lot of debts from that rich guy and that guy wants me in exchange so I run away. I do not want to spend my entire life with that old guy! If only I found a husband to show my dad that I’m married so that guy will go away… And I’ll find the way pay back for those debts afterwards.” She narrated as she took a deep sigh.
Bill kept in silence for a moment while looking at her. “I can help you if you want…” He offered.
“What do you mean?”
“I can be your husband.”
“What? But Bill we just met.”
“I don’t care I want to help you.”
“But…”
“Its just fake marriage… right?”
She nodded. “…but are you sure?”
“I am.”

”Dad…” She hugged her dad.
“You little girl you made me worried… where did you go? …Mr. Lee is waiting for you.”
“Dad I can’t marry that old man… I’m married now, Dad this is Bill my husband.” She introduced Bill to his father. “Hi Dad…” He took a bow.
“How could you do this to me Cyndi you know you must marry Mr. Lee.” He said nervous.
“But dad I don’t love…”
Mr. Lee was there standing in front of them.
“…him” She pointed to Mr. Lee.
“Okay if you don’t want to marry me Cyndi then pay all your dad’s debts now or else …I’m going to put your beloved father to jail!”
Her stepfather looked at her. “I’ll pay my dad’s debts but not now Mr. Lee.”
“Sorry dear but if you can’t pay today… you’ll see your father in jail.”
Bill took his check on his wallet and gave it to Mr. Lee.
“What is this?” Mr. Lee asked.
“A blank check can you see?” Bill seriously replied.
“Bill you don’t have to do this.” Cyndi said.
“It’s okay…” He smiled at her and looked back at Mr. Lee. “Write the amount of their debts there and leave!”
“Oh so you’re the guy!” He looked at him from head to toe. “You have a nice choice Cyndi…younger than me huh!” He tried to annoy them.
“Mr. you can leave now you’re already paid right?” Bill calmly said.
“Whoa! Okay…” He said and looked at Cyndi’s stepfather. ”be thankful to your daughters husband Mister.” He gave him an annoying smile, before he walked away.
“Thank you Bill.” Her dad thanks him.

In Cyndi’s room.
“Why did you do that Bill?”
“Because your dad will be put on jail if you don’t…”
“I can pay him Bill, well maybe not now but…”
“It’s okay Cyndi… its just money. The most important is you and your father.” He narrated. She was touched by those words. She sat beside him.
“Thank you anyway, for helping me …now I don’t know how to pay you.”
“It’s okay Cyndi, its okay.” He smiled.

PART 17

Tom was watching the television that night; He saw a familiar face “Nishca?”
He whispered.

It was her movie premier night. Maria became an actress. Criss managed her.
“Maria! Maria!” that crowd shouting. She just smiled to her fans and took a sign on her posters.
Criss was with her backing up.
Tom was there too... in the crowd, looking at her.

After the movie Maria passed on the back door,
Tom was there. “Nishca!” He shouted.
Maria suddenly stopped when she heard his voice she looked back but the guard took him out.
“Is there something wrong Maria?”
“Huh? No! Nothing…” and continues to walk.
Tom was sure that Maria is actually Nishca.

“Criss, can I just go out?” She pleaded.
“No, Maria you can’t there’s a lot of paparazzi out there… it’s dangerous for you to go out alone.”
“But… I just…”
“I said no!”
She was sad and Criss noticed that. “I’m sorry baby but you can’t go outside, you better rest upstairs remember you have an interview with the press tomorrow.” He narrated.
Maria followed his advice, she went upstairs. She weakly closed the door and sat on her bed. “But I just want to… see the…”She threw herself face downward on the pillows and burst into passionate sobbing then suddenly something struck in her mind.
She dressed up again she wears black pants, shirt and jacket. She also wears cap and sunglasses for disguising. She passed on the back door. She saw Criss talking to someone on the phone she continued to walk until she was outside of there gate.
Tom was standing far from the gate and observing closely. He saw someone went outside.
It was Maria.
He followed her.

"Maria! Maria!” The crowd was after her… she was running.
A white car stopped in front of her. “Come on go in!” Without any second thought, she went in the car and the car run away from those crowd.
She was looking back as he pulled her cap off. “Thank God I was safe…” She sighed.
She was looked at the man who saved him. He was driving. “Thank you… Mister?”
“Tom…” He smiled.
“Thank you Tom for saving me.”
“It’s okay Nishca.”
“Nishca?” She repeated. A sudden memory comes back. She was holding her head.
Tom stopped the car and looked at her. “Don’t you remember me?”
“Remember you? Do you know me?”
He took her hand and…saw the ring he gave her, “I know it was you, you’re alive.” He was very happy. He hugged her.
“Alive?” She was still confused.
"Remember this ring? I gave it to you…”
She looked at her hand and all the pieces of her memories back…

“Okay, come on… don’t cry I’ll take your ball.”
“Really?” She gave him a big smile.
He holds her hand and they both walk in front of that big tree behind them. “Are you sure, you can climb up there?” She said while looking up.
He just smiled and climbs on the tree… after a few minutes above it he safely goes down holding her ball. He gave the ball to her.
She happily smiled at him as she received her favorite ball. “Thank you” she said.

“Nishca… I want you to have this."
“A ring, but why?” she curiously asked.
“I really want to tell you… I love you Nishca.”

It suddenly rained. “Oh it’s raining…” they both run to the nearest shed.
“Oh well… we are wet…” She complained.
He takes off his jacket and wraps around her “I don’t want you to catch a cold.”

She was on her room that moment preparing… Tom entered the room.
“Oh, Tom? What are you doing her are you supposed to be in the church?"
“You have to know something Nishca.”
“About what?”
“About us…” He seriously whispered.
“Us?” She was confused. She looked at him with a second thought. “Is this one of your jokes Tom? It’s not funny.”
He pulled out the ring into his pocket. “Remember this?”
Her eyes looked at the ring and realizing…it was the pair of her ring. “How come you have that?”
“I love you, remember? You promise me you’ll wait for me until I come back.” he whispered, he walked close to her and kissed her in the forehead just like before… and kissed her on lips.
After they kissed. “Bill? But… how? This is impossible!”

“It was not my real name Nishca… I tried to say it before I left but you didn’t come that day…”
“But why? But you both lied to me?” She was crying. “You both fooled me!”

It was in the Church. She went straight to Bill and slapped him as hard as she can.
Bill was broken. He sated to the nearest couch. “Please don’t do this to me…”
“You know Bill; I hope you think before you did that!” She left the church wearing his wedding gown.

“Help! Help!” A woman knocked in her windshield.
“Why what happened?”
“My dad is sick I need to go to the hospital but can find a ride… please help me Miss.” The woman pleaded.
“Go in I’ll drive you there…”
The woman went inside and locked the car door beside her.
“Where is that hospital Miss, I think we are too…” She was driving.
“Give me your wallet Miss!” The woman has a knife pointing on her side.
She stopped the car. They were in a side of a ravine.
“Wait! Miss I’ll give everything here." She gave her wallet.
The girl saw the ring “How about that!”
”…this?“ She pointed her engagement ring with Bill. “Here.” He gave it to her.
”...and the other one.” The girl was talking about the ring that Tom gave.
“No! You can get everything but you can’t have this ring!”
Nishca was trying to grab the knife from her but the woman accidentally stubbed her. She was full of blood. “I’m sorry I… I just want your money! I didn’t mean to kill you…” The girl was frightened so she pushed her outside the car. She was unconsciously fall down the car.
She has smeared with blood.
The woman run away run away with her car.

Everything has flashed back.

“Tom! It is you!” She hugged him tight.
Tom hugged her back “I know you’re not dead! Thank God I found you…” They both cried.

Bill was looking at Nishca’s picture.
Cyndi was there looking at him. “I just wish I was she.” She sighed.
Bill noticed her. “Oh Cyndi, you’re there?” He kept her picture in his wallet.
She smiled as she entered the room. “My dad wants to talk with you.”

“Do you really love my daughter?”
He looked at Cyndi. “Yes I love her.”
Cyndi rolled her eyes. She knows its just a lie.
“Well… we will settle your wedding in church.” Cyndi’s dad narrated.
“What!” Cyndi stood up.
Bill held her hand tight and looked at her as if he was saying “It’s okay.”
She took her hand from Bill and walked away.
Bill left alone with her father.
“I know it’s just a show Mr. Bill…” Her father admitted.
“I was trying to help.” He explained.
“I know son and I thank you for that.” He thank him.
“But Sir I really want your daughter.” Bill admitted. “Can you help me Sir?”
“I wanted to help you son but you know my daughter he will do whatever she want, right?”
“I know that Sir…” He agreed.

“I cannot believe on you Bill!” She confronted him.
“Why?”
“Are you serious? Marrying me? You don’t even love me! I think we better tell dad about the truth.”
He kept in silence. “I love you Cyndi can’t you see?” His mind shouted.
Cyndi went outside. “Dad, I want you to say something… Bill is not…”
“Don’t tell you’re?” His Dad was holding to his heart “Dad, Bill and I are just…” She cannot continue what she was trying to say because his dad fainted. “Bill! Help! Daddy! Wake up! Daddy!” She cried. They rushed him to the nearest hospital.

”Criss… My memories are back!” She was with Tom.
"I told you can’t go out but you disobeyed me!” He was holding her hand tight
“Criss you’re hurting me!”
“Get off her!” Tom said as he pushed Criss away from him.
They fight.
“Stop it!” She shouted. They both stopped.
“Guards, bring this man outside and never let him come again!” Criss ordered.
The guards brought Tom outside.
Maria gave Criss a bad look. “You can’t do this to me Criss…”
“From now on you can never see that guy again!”
She runs to her room. Criss went upstairs to talk with her.
“I’m sorry Maria… I…“
“I’m Nishca!”
“Okay! I can see your memories are back now, I don’t care! I made you! You are mine… and I don’t have plans to give you back, Maria.” He stood up and burst the door as he leave.

“We will try to do our best for your dad, for now you can talk to him because he requested to talk with you but make sure that you don’t make him stressed.” The doctor said.
They both walked inside the hospital room.
“Cyndi…” His dad whispered.
“Dad…Why you didn’t told me about your sickness?” Cyndi replied on him.
“I don’t want you to be anxious my dear…”
Bill was there watching them.
“Cyndi I want to see you walk down the isle.” His dad requested.
“Shh… Dad please rest… we can talked about it later.”
“No Cyndi, I want you to be in good hand before I die…” He was whispering.
“Dad, don’t say that…” She cried.
“Cyndi I know I’m dying and I want you to be in good hands…Bill I know you love my daughter please take care of her.”
“I will...” He replied.
Cyndi just cried.

“Why you make that promise to my dad… you know it’s just a lie!” She cried out.
“Cyndi…”
“He wanted me to…” She couldn’t continue what she was about to say.
Bill kissed her. “I love you Cyndi.”
She was surprised. “You… what?” She asked again.
“I want you to fulfill you dad request, I want you to marry me.”
“Marry? But why?”
“Because I love you…”
“But since when?”
“From the day I saw you.”
“But I thought…”
Bill kissed him again. “Is that not enough for proof?” He smiled at her.
Her wish just came true.

It was the day of her press interview.
She answered their entire questions about her.
“How about your wedding with Criss?” One of the interviewers said.
She stopped. “My wedding?” She got confused.
He looked at Criss beside him Criss answered the question.
“It will be held this month.”
That was the last question.

Later…
“Who told you I’m still going to marry you huh Criss?” she threw her pouch in the couch.
“We settled this before remember?”
“Yes before… but now…”
“The wedding invitations were already given, you can’t back out Maria” He added quickly.
“The name on that wedding invitation is not my real name!”
“Don’t ever tell me that! You are Maria! Forget your real name!” He walked out.
She was guarded 24/7 by the guards, She couldn’t even find a chance to escape.

It was their wedding day.

She was forced to go there wearing that gown she’s wearing now. She heart was crying while walking down the isle. And now she is facing the pastor.
“Criss, will you take Maria as your lawfully wedded wife?”
“I do.”
“Maria will you accept Criss as your lawfully wedded husband?”
“I-…” She was speechless.
She looked at Criss and looked at the crowd. “I can’t marry Criss because I’m not Maria, I’m Nishca!” She admitted.
The crowd was surprised.
“I’m sorry Criss but I love Tom.” She ran outside.
“Maria!” Criss shouted, he couldn’t believe she can actually do this to him, He got the gun of one of his body guards and ran after her.
Tom was there… “I know you will not marry him.” He smiled.
She kissed him. “No I won’t marry him, I love you Tom.”

“Maria!” Criss grab Nishca.
“I said I’m not Maria, Criss can’t you understand!”
“No! You’re Maria!” He looses himself.
“Please understand Criss I love Tom….” She pleaded.
“No! I’m the only one you love Maria!” He pulled out his gun.
“Ah!” The crowd exclaimed.
“Criss take it slow… we can talk about this, just put your gun down.” Tom tried to be calmed.
“Tom please Maria is not Nishca…” He took Nishca to his car and ran the car as fast as he could.

Miles away from that place, Nishca is still crying.
“Stop that!”
“Stop this nonsense Criss take me back, I’m not Maria!”
“Maria what’s wrong with you? Are you sick?”
“Are you crazy?”
“Crazy? ...yes Maria I will loose myself if I will lose you!”

”Ahhh!” She shouted out loud. Criss stopped the car and forcedly kissed her. She was stopped, she was shocked of what he did, Criss never did that on her… She cried silently.
Criss started the car again.

Bill received a call from his brother. Together with his wife Cyndi, they took the first flight.
“What happened, Tom?” Bill asked his brother.
“Nishca She is alive…” Bill and Cyndi looked with each other.
“Really, I’m glad to hear that Tom so where is she?”
“She was kidnapped.”
“What!” He exclaimed. Tom told them the story.
“The police was looking for them now…I’m following the police, are you going with me?”
Bill looked at Cyndi first, Cyndi smiled to him giving her approval to go.
“I’ll be back soon.” He kissed her goodbye.

They are in Criss rest house, far from the city. They stayed there for the night.
Criss woke up because of the unfamiliar voice. “These are the police! Mr. Criss surrender now!”
“Help!” Nishca shouted.
“Shhh…” He asked her to be quite as if she was asking a child to keep in silence.
“Come…”He pulled Nishca and the passed at the back.
They walked for miles until.
“Stop right there!” the police said.
They both stopped. Criss was still holding Nishca.
“Criss I know how much you love Maria but you know that it’s not her real name don’t you?”
Tom said far behind the cops, Bill was there too. He could not believe what he sees, it was real Nishca is still alive.
Nishca looked at him “Criss, please stop it now… I know, I- know you love me but I’ve been waiting for all my life to be with Tom… remember the words you said that you will help to find the guy who gave this ring?” She showed her hand wearing the ring. “It was Tom, Criss…It was Tom…”
Criss remembered the entire thing he said before.

“I’m sorry Nishca… I became selfish because of my love on you; I didn’t notice that I’m actually hurting you…” He whispered.
Criss raised his gun. One of the police thought his going to fire the gun so He shoots him.
Nishca saw that “No!" She caught the bullet for Criss.
“Nishca!” They exclaimed.
Tom and Bill ran toward Nishca.
She was slowly fall down in front of Criss.
A tear slowly drop in his eyes as he saw Nishca slowly falls down smeared with her own blood. He realized all the stupid things he did.. If only he can turn back the time.

Tom was there holding her…
“Don’t leave me again please… I can’t take it anymore if I will loose you again.” He cried.
Nishca noticed Bill was there. ”H- hi there Bill…” She smiled at him.
“Nishca I want to say sorry for what I done before …please don’t leave my brother.” He begged.
She smiled at Bill again then turned to Tom. “Tom… I love you.” She whispered.
“Shh! Nishca hold on we will take you to the hospital.” He pleaded.
She was breathing out one’s last.

KRRRING! KRRRING! KRRRING!
Nishca woke up because of her alarm clock.
“Thank God!” She exclaimed.
She looked at the mirror and look at her own reflection.
“Whoa! I thought I’m going to die…” She checked her body if there’s any gun shot or something but she found nothing. “It was a dream...” She realized.
She noticed her engagement ring. She remembered that…

“Nishca! Wake up… we can’t be late on your wedding day!” She heard her mom.
“Oh…Yes mom I’m already awake.”
She was preparing herself for this special day…

She was wearing a white long wedding gown.
“Wow! You look beautiful girl.” Her best friend Cyndi praised.
“Thanks girl… Where’s your brother Criss I thought he will drive you there in the church?” She looked back at her.
“He’s downstairs.” She answered. “You know Nish… your really lucky.”
“Why?” She asked.
“Look, you have great showbiz career, and you’re marrying the man you love.”
Nishca just smiled at her. Cyndi was telling the truth she could not ask anything more.
“I wished I can wear a wedding gown too.”
“Why he didn’t propose yet?”
Cyndi showed her engagement ring. “I’m just kidding.” She winked.
“You fool!” She laughed.
“So Nishca are you ready? Your mom and dad are waiting downstairs”
“Yeah, you know my mom was exited more than I do...”
“I noticed that.” They both laughed.

Bill and Tom were there waiting…
“The bride is here!”
Tom looked at Bill…
Bill just nodded at him and say, “You look good Bro don’t worry.“ He smiled.
He smiled back at his twin. Tom turned his head in Nishca as she walk down the isles toward him. As Nishca reached the end, she smile at Bill, their best man and looked at Tom…
Tom held her hand and they both face the pastor.

“I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride!”
Tom Looked at Nishca and kiss her lips. They both smiled after that.
There were Medias in the crowd. They heard the applause.

“I love you…” Tom whispered in her ears as he weakly lay beside her.
That was their first night as husband and wife.
“I love you too…” She whispered back while hugging his naked husband. Her face was lying on Tom’s chest where in she can actually hear his heart beat.
“Hon last night, I have a strange dream…” She opened up as she remembered her dream.
“…strange dream?” Tom curiously asked while playing with Nishca’s long hair.
“It’s about you and your brother Bill.” She moved slightly closer to his face and looked at him.
“What about us?” He asked while staring in her beautiful eyes.
She placed herself in his arms again and continued her story. “In my dream you and your brother lied to me…and…then,” She suddenly noticed his heart beat became faster than the usual… seems like scared, frightened. “Is there something wrong Hon?” She asked her husband and took the white blanket to cover her nakedness while sitting up. “You suddenly look pale…” She noticed his face.
Tom sat up and, “Nishca I really want to tell you this before but…” He was explaining with pale face.
“Tell me what?” Her voice became confused.
“I’m scared that if… you…” He was nervous.
“Just tell me!” She moved back a little bit from him.
“Okay… remember the guy who helped you before?” He reminded her.
Nishca gave him a confused look.
“The guy you first met?” He took a pause. “It’s not me…” He admitted.
She suddenly felt her own heart beats with fear. “Wha-t do… y-ou mean Tom?” She stammered.
“...it’s Bill, Nishca… It’s Bill, not me….”
“What!”
